I think Timothy was the first turtle I have ever seen on a newspaper - to have his life story etc there. He was about a hundred years old when the World War II and the bombings were happening around him ...

Fascinating. Someone that I like likes the turtles a lot. I remember liking them when I was a kid - my cousins have turtles, and I liked them as they .. like cats, would live at their own pace. Without worrying too much .. I feel sad for the death of this turtle. Seeing old turtles I just feel the same respect when I see elderly people .. they have seen a lot, and have seen the world change around them so much even if they have never moved very far.

Cats make me envy something in them .. cats do what they want, because they want. Not because you or someone else would except them to do something only because they are cats. -- But today is the day of the Turtles. :)
