2004-04-09 - 1:07 p.m. Yesterday there was the announce of the first Trojan for OS X. [discussion].
Intego, a French software company making Mac antiviruses was the first one to
release a note about it - in a few hours it was discussed all around the boards.
[intego's hoaxy style article].
The trojan, MP3Concept (MP3Virus.Gen) gave no results with google yesterday.
Then someone found [this
comment in the web], dated in March. Very interesting... why would he sign
the discussion with his own name? You can find pretty much about this Bo
Lindbergh - the city, country, the university he attended, his other interests
.. the trojan made it big on [
./ ] but [someone
had problems opening the trojan infected file with panther]. The [Wired
article] about it was moved quickly to the "articles" section. I bet there would be a lot more to find but I don't feel like hoax hunting.
All night and still my stomach feels like a string orchestra - bloated, like
there was an intere swimming pool injected to my body, and some violin strings
inside my guts that are set so tight that breathing makes me sound like a symphony
- not just the notes from C to F but all the scale violin has, and the basss,
the drums and the trumpets and harps. Edit: Leander reads his emails. [article in Wired 30 min after feedback] |
