I have kept my on the road music for a long time only-in-the-iPod, leaving a mistery what to keep on the main hard drive (of the computer) then. I'm not syncing them. But as I needed a good variety of music for editing etc, I needed to make an essential selection. I chose only the music that I really like. Like track by track. Now it is pretty close to that - and I laugh as a 630 songs or 3 G of music is "the essential music" - but here we go.. analyze me from what I have .. if you are into playlistism. (Laughing - because I remember the time I didn't have 3 G of space for my files after installing two different OS to the hd)

This is the stuff I have now that I cleaned my hard drive - in my iTunes. (No, you can't have them. They aren't downloadable. If you are at my home, I can put on the iTunes music sharing but you letterally have to be at my home with your mac to enjoy that). Well, this is music I enjoy and consider usable for editing (musica backgrounds for visual stuff).
