Migraine sucks. But at least it didn't choose a worse day. Like thanksgiving or christmas eve it would have sucked a lot more.

Most cases of migraine start in the teen years. I am an exception, I've had migraine since I was born .. so my earlies memories are about that headache, I think I must have been like 3 or 4 years old. Well - migraine, and how I hated some hospitals, and the smile and the energy of my dad's side grandma (I liked her).

I know a lot of things that can cause it. Nutmeg. Spring sun - it is so bright compared to the winter sun - dust, some chemicals, some soups or food containg creme fraiche, and sometimes even red wine made me always ill. I guess it must be the sulfites in them, once I got used to the fresh ones, and the more home made style (from grapes, not from packets) that has been much less.

But it still can choose a very unpropriate moment. Today wasn't that bad for the consequences. The last bad I had before was in UK, the last day there, I got a terrible headache and vomited 11 am, but luckily the medicines made a miracle, and I was able to take the flight and probably even eat some on the plane, and not just be ill and vomiting.

When I first time arrived to NYC, I had a terrible migraine. The plane food had made me ill. The queue in the arrivals and on the passport control etc were very long. I had hard time not vomiting, the stuff was trying to come up all the time. I must have looked terrible, I was sitting on my backpack all the time, and I'm amazed I wasn't taken as a terrorist etc that time. I guess they have seen everything in INC but that time it really sucked.

I feel lucky when a migraine attack goes away the same day. Sometimes it takes two days, and sometimes I tend to get migraine like headaches daily - one spring something like that was going on every day from January to April.

Luckily today wasn't the christmas eve. :)
